La Vigilia - The feast of the seven fishes

I shared with my sisters that we had sold 2 Feast of the Seven Fishes custom embroidered Christmas Eve aprons.  Of course they wanted to know which apron style the buyer had chosen.  Pretty soon the conversation turned to the many La Vigilia (Christmas Eve) dinners our family has had over the years.  We reminisced about how our mother would never ever start the water for the macaroni (capellini) till all family members were present. And how we would roll our eyes when she declared the pot is on.  Which meant start rounding everybody up and getting the grandkids seated around the dinning room table.
Later on that evening, I thought if we were custom embroidering a La Vigilia apron for my mom what would it say?  The apron would be simple and to the point.  It would read La Vigilia with a boiling spaghetti pot.

  2. Thank you so much Barb. Many of our embroidered products especially the Italian themed items are based on my own family.
