Family Christmas Tree

When my now adult kids were young, they were always excited to pick out our Christmas tree.   Can you imagine how many hours we spent deciding which one we would purchase? It was always a fun filled family day. The ironic part, though, is I am not a fanatic Christmas tree kind of person.  The kids decorated most of the tree themselves.  They all had special ornaments that had to be on the tree.  We never had Christmas trees that had a theme or a color.  Our family Christmas  tree told a story of Christmases past,
Fast forward to today.  I still am not big on Christmas trees.  I put up two small trees that are easy to set up and take down. Actually, all I do take them out of the storage bag (already decorated). The special ornaments have been passed on and have found new homes.
It warms my heart when I see them on my grandchildren's trees.

Many of the shirts we have listed started out as request from family.  And the Christmas tree t shirt is no exception   When one of the grand kids was in preschool, he needed a Christmas tree t shirt for his school play and we embroidered one for him.

Wishing everyone one a very Merry Christmas.  Buon Natale!

  1. We always had a fresh cut tree when my children were small. They always loved to decorate it and there was no telling what you might find on the branches. I love the shirt you picked out for your theme. I was a perfect match with the blogging theme. Your post was great, thank you for sharing.

  3. Delightful post! Since I was a child, we have always had a fresh cut tree for Christmas. Sometimes it was bought from a lot, sometimes we we went to a tree farm and cut our own and a couple of times we actually trekked out into the woods to find a wild one to cut. This is the first year that we will have a man made tree. It was necessary because we will not be able to keep it watered. I love the shirt. Keep up the fine work.
