There are Arrows and There Are Arrows

The ESN scavenger hunt theme for this week is is arrows. Arrows as in bow and arrow or as in a pointing device.
Perhaps the most recognized arrow picture is a heart with Cupid's arrow. You remember him. The little guy with a bow and arrow. According to mythology, he uses the arrow to strike people's hearts to help them fall in love. I don't think grandmoms need to be hit by cupid's arrow to fall in love with a grandchild. It is love at first sight.


With that thought in mind, we designed the Grandmom's Valentine infant bib. The bib is 100% cotton with a spill proof backing. And of course two red hearts with cupid's arrow is embroidered on the center of the bib. The bib is custom embroidered on our premises.

Masks

Most clowns do not wear masks. However, clowns make up their faces to reflect the mood the clown is in and the painted faces often remind me of a mask. As I stated in an earlier blog, I am not fond of clowns, but I do like the ceramic face masks.

The New Orleans Brian ceramic mask is exquisite. It measures about 7 inches long x 5 1/8 inches wide; approximately 2.5 inches deep.

National Caramel Candy Apple Day

This week in our ESN scavenger hunt blog we are searching for products with a fruit theme.

Since it is September, apples came to mind.  Not just plain ole apples, but caramel candy apples.  Did you know that there is a national caramel candy apple day? It is celebrated in the United states on October 31st.  There are numerous recipes for caramel apples.  Everything from chocolate, to peanuts to gummy worms can be added to the caramel.  At our house, we like the the basic old time recipe, crisp apples, and caramel.
In honor of Caramel candy Apple Day we have the sweetest candy caramel sweatshirt.  The sweatshirt is custom embroidered on our premises.

Cool Beverage - Margarita Mother of the Bride T Shirt

Our theme for the ESN scavenger's hunt this week is cool beverage.

After spending a hectic day shopping for your daughter's perfect wedding gown, it is now time to relax with a cool refreshing drink. Some might choose iced mint tea or a glass of raspberry lemonade or even a chilled red wine.

That's not what happened at my house! My special group of lady friends (better known as the HENS) showed up with snacks and pitchers of margaritas. They had decided the Mother of the Bride needed a little pampering. Maybe a new tradition is in the making. Besides bachelorette parties we can also have Pamper the Mother of the Bride Parties. Believe me she will need it.



This fun filled evening insipred the Margarita Mother of the Bride t shirt.

It's 5 o'Clock Somewhere

How does yoiur Garden Grow? Burner covers

As I have stated on numerous occasions I do not have a green thumb.  Gardening is not my idea of relaxation, fulfillment or sense of achievement.  In fact as my daughter was kind enough to remind me gardening is more than just planting some annual flowers so my front yard looks presentable. It's growing herbs and vegetables and fruits. She loves her garden.  Sometimes I wonder where she comes from.  lol
Anyway, How does your garden grow? is the theme for our ESN scavenger hunt.  I found this adorable set of electric burner covers in an apple and peach design at Eccentric Thrifter.

Going a Frog Hunting

The ESN scavenger hunt theme for this week is frogs.  I've been looking for frogs under rocks, on sweatshirts, on shirts, on hats - just about everywhere.  I've also been searching eCrater scavenger hunt members stores for frogs.   However, by now all the frogs have been snapped up.  So, here is a beautiful pair of pheasant figurines listed by Le Petit Marche.

Fire King casserole dish - Bargain Express

The theme for this week's Scavenger Hunt ESN blog is breakfast.  In my house, I cook breakfast every morning.  Hubby is an eggs, bacon and bagel kind of guy.  Not me!  I like some some variety.  Of course it is difficult to serve a variety of  breakfast foods on a daily basis.  But come Sunday, especially if one or more grands kids are here, well that's a different story.  The grands"  favorite is french toast casserole.   I like it also.  Especially because I can make it the night before and have it ready to pop into the oven.

Mother Nature has treated us to some spring and summer like days recently.  And warm sunny days are my cup of tea.  My favorite saying is to relax I need my feet in the sand, the sun on my back and the salty smell of the ocean.

Things Yellow on ESN

This weeks we are hunting for yellow things on the eCrater Stores Network.

I adore anything with the Tinker Bell logo.  Bargain Express had just what I was looking for- in purple of course.
